Encapsulation, Handcrafting and a Green Innovation at the NBF Bed Show

At the 2019 Bed Show, Sweet Dreams will be showing key examples of what is acknowledged as one of the widest ranges of UK-manufactured divans and mattresses. We boast 12 collections of divan sets in our portfolio, including adjustable models, and a fabulous collection of outstanding bed frames, too.

What’s new?

New for 2019 will be an emphasis on encapsulated beds, with the Enchanted collection renamed as Defined Edge Support.  We have witnessed increased interest and sales in foam-encapsulated beds and are expanding our collection with these new pocket spring models offering higher spring counts, for example 1,500 and 2,000. These beds will be launched at Telford.

So, too, will be the exciting new Hand Crafted collection. Featuring mattresses with hand-stitching to the border and natural luxury fillings such as silk and cashmere, these three divans will appeal to those wanting something a little special from their bed.

That’s also the case with the Pocket Air Pure collection – an evolution of Pocket Air. Not only do these new beds feature the light-as-air Pocket Air spring system, but in a green innovation that’s sure to generate a high degree of interest from retailers, the mattresses sport an FR chemical-free fabric cover – safety and purity combined. There are four beds in the range, two with microquilted and two with tufted tops, and with 4,000 or 3,000 Pocket Air springs. Sensational.

Other models will also be shown off to the industry for the first time in September across most divan collections. At the luxury end of the spectrum Royal Pillowtop sports new models; tidy box pillowtops and beds with lower spring counts to make the collection more accessible. Ortho and Comfort collections also have new beds on offer, while in bed frames there are new models such as the compact white sleighbed Duvall to grab attention. Joy, a sophisticated captain’s bed with storage and a fabulous car bed, Boost, will do the same in the children’s range.

Bedroom ranges in the new brochure

Bedroom cabinet, too, sees fresh pieces launched, and while they might not be exhibited at Telford they will be on view in the new Sweet Dreams upstairs brochure for 2019, also to be launched at the NBF Bed Show. The fully assembled ranges launched in July at Manchester such as the diamond delight Lucy, together with brand new models Madden and Kerr, are displayed on those pages in all their glory.

This Bed Show, everyone will be heading for Sweet Dreams at Stand H40 – see you there.
