New Upholstery Key Accounts Manager for Sweet Dreams
Brian Levitt has been appointed as Key Accounts Manager (Upholstery Division) by Lancashire manufacturer Sweet Dreams.
Sweet Dreams, who manufacture beds and upholstery at their Burnley premises and supply to retailers nationwide, have been seeking an upholstery sales specialist to manage key retail accounts and to develop the range. These days, that range comprises several imported models as well as a large collection of British-made sofas and chairs, a number of which will be exhibited at the January Furniture Show.
Brian has over 30 years’ sales experience within the furniture market, most particularly with five upholstery manufacturers and most recently with Steinhoff UK, where he was National Sales Manager. Previously, Brian will be remembered in the industry for his many years at Joynson Holland between 2003 and 2016, with a major role as UK Country Manager, and at Elano Furniture (now Sitbest) as National Sales Manager between 1992 and 2000.
Brian says: ‘I am keen to help Sweet Dreams in the drive to develop their upholstery division and to introduce new models. I’ll be working closely with Nick Williams, Sweet Dreams’ Sales Manager, and am looking forward to supporting him.’
Riaz Ahmed, Sweet Dreams Managing Director, says: ‘Brian undoubtedly brings a wealth of talent and know-how as well as considerable experience to the role. We’re pleased to welcome him on board and we look forward to working together.’
Brian lives in Worcestershire and is centrally placed within the UK. As well as assisting Nick, he will be working alongside the Sweet Dreams team of agents nationwide.
